The Ahimsa field team carried out support and recreational activities aimed at spreading a culture of nonviolence and promoting human values in three shelters — Abi Dhar, Martyr Roken Academy, and Ahmad Hussein — in the city of Al-Hasakah, as part of the activities of the “Change Makers” Project.
The activities included interactive and group games that foster cooperation and respect among children, in addition to distributing gifts and toys in a safe atmosphere filled with joy and psychological support.
The program also focused on reinforcing nonviolence concepts such as accepting others, choosing dialogue instead of conflict, and expressing emotions in positive ways.
This activity reflects our belief that building a generation that believes in nonviolence begins in childhood through interactive activities that teach children that strength lies in respect, and that differences do not mean conflict.
