The ninth dialogue session titled “Building the Structure and Working System of the Education and Nonviolence Cell” – “Ahimsa Nonviolence Network” Project

Ahimsa Nonviolence Organization conducted the ninth dialogue session titled “Building the Structure and Working System of the Cell” as part of the activities of the “Ahimsa Nonviolence Network” project, with the participation of members of the Education and Nonviolence Cell.

The session aimed to establish a clear working system for the Education and Nonviolence Cell to help its members organize their work, distribute responsibilities, and define communication and coordination mechanisms, while also clarifying the cell’s scope of work and the issues it will address.

The session focused on several key areas:

1. Designing the cell’s work cycle and defining the stages of work, from planning and role distribution to implementation, follow-up, documentation, and evaluation.
2. Discussing mechanisms for dealing with different situations that the cell may face and identifying pathways for action, coordination, and reporting.
3. Defining roles and responsibilities within the cell and distributing tasks among its members.
4. Mapping the cell’s areas of work and identifying issues that fall within its responsibility, as well as those that can be addressed in cooperation with other cells.
5. Identifying organizations and stakeholders with whom partnerships and coordination can be established within the cell’s areas of work.
6. Testing the working system through potential situations and scenarios to identify gaps and further develop working mechanisms.

The session provided a space for collective reflection and the exchange of ideas on the role of education in promoting nonviolence values, contributing to a shift from a general understanding of the Education and Nonviolence Cell toward establishing practical foundations that enable it to work as an organized team capable of developing joint initiatives and activities.

The session concluded with a set of outcomes related to the working mechanism, the identification of priorities, and the cell’s scope of work, paving the way for developing its role and strengthening its contribution to promoting a culture of nonviolence and education for peace within the Ahimsa Nonviolence Network.
