Ahimsa Organization for Nonviolence implemented the second session of the Dialogue Meetings activity within the “Change Makers” project, bringing together 15 organizations from different areas: Raqqa, Hasakah, and Qamishli.
The session addressed several key themes aimed at integrating nonviolence concepts into organizational structures and strengthening a culture of cooperation and effective communication.
Topics covered during the session included:
- Field visits conducted by participants to the participating organizations, with the aim of learning about team management mechanisms, decision-making processes, and internal conflict resolution within work environments.
- Focused and interactive discussions highlighting nonviolent practices and identifying entry points for strengthening and building upon nonviolence in ways that serve organizational work and enhance its impact.
- Group discussions exploring avenues for cooperation through the integration of nonviolence within internal organizational systems.
- Drafting a Nonviolent Cooperation Charter among the participating organizations.
In conclusion, the session was rich in interaction and dialogue, providing a safe space for shared learning and exchange of experiences among organizations. It also contributed to linking theoretical concepts with practical realities, reinforcing the values and culture of nonviolence within organizational structures.
