On the second day, the Ahimsa field team continued implementing support and recreational activities aimed at spreading a culture of nonviolence and promoting human values at the shelters “Municipality Building and Al-Buhtari School” in the city of Al-Hasakah, as part of the Change Makers Project.
The activities included interactive and group games that contributed to strengthening the spirit of cooperation and respect among children, in addition to distributing gifts and toys, creating a positive atmosphere that supports their mental well-being and provides them with a safe space for expression.
The interactive sessions focused on concepts such as accepting others, dialogue as an alternative to conflict, and reinforcing the values of respect and understanding from an early age.
This reaffirms that instilling a culture of nonviolence begins with simple steps in children’s daily lives, so they grow up carrying deeply rooted human values.
