As part of the “The Photo Changed Me” activity, implemented as part of “The Photo Speaks” campaign within the Sada Project, participants documented scenes from their surroundings that reflected different forms of violence.
They then shared how these images changed their perspective and helped them realize that violence can take many forms beyond physical abuse.
In this poster, one participant shares their experience with environmental violence through a photograph they captured themselves, accompanied by an audio recording that can be accessed by scanning the attached QR code.

“Violence is not only about hitting or shouting When I took this photograph, it was more than just a snapshot It was a painful scene that made me realize that violence is not limited to physical or verbal abuse.
It can also be neglect that threatens the environment and silence that harms health and life.
I now “see… I understand… and I feel.”
