As part of the “The Photo Changed Me” activity, implemented as part of “The Photo Speaks” campaign within the Sada Project, participants documented scenes from their surroundings that reflected different forms of violence.
They then shared how these images changed their perspective and helped them realize that violence can take many forms beyond physical abuse.
In this poster, one participant shares their experience with environmental violence through a photograph they captured themselves, accompanied by an audio recording that can be accessed by scanning the attached QR code.

“At first, it seemed normal… until I realized it was an act of environmental violence. Trees would die, people would lose access to water, and children would be left to drink salty well waterif they could find any.”
