On March 29, 2023
Ahimsa Organization held the fifteenth and final session of its capacity-building training series in Al-Hasakah, as part of the “Masar” Project, in cooperation with the Steps Center in Lebanon and under the guidance of trainers specialized in nonviolence and peaceful conflict transformation.
This session was dedicated to answering a set of questions aimed at gathering ideas and shaping practical initiatives that can positively impact local issues in a nonviolent way.
The session focused on the following points:
- What have we learned from working in groups, and what are the ideas for initiatives?
- What kind of comprehensive change do we want to achieve?
- What types of changes support this transformation?
- What is the timeline for change?
- Are there milestones and steps to achieve this change?
Participants were able to formulate initiative and campaign ideas that can be further developed for practical application, building on the analysis and work carried out in previous sessions.
This session marked the practical conclusion of a full training path focused on building youth capacities in nonviolence and peaceful conflict transformation.
