On January 25, 2023
Ahimsa Organization held the seventh session of the capacity-building training series in Al-Hasakah, as part of “Masar” Project, in collaboration with the Steps Center in Lebanon and under the supervision of trainers specialized in nonviolence and peaceful conflict transformation.
During this session:
- The groups continued presenting the projects they had prepared in earlier stages.
- The focus was placed on the importance of maintaining a nonviolent perspective throughout every step of campaign implementation, and on avoiding any violent action that could affect the process.
The session also included identifying locally based nonviolent tools and practices in order to review and adapt them to the local context. This aimed to create a practical reference that could be relied upon and revisited when seeking applicable experiences from the region.
