In photos, the fifth dialogue session titled “Building the Cell’s Working System,” conducted by Ahimsa Nonviolence & Peacebuilding Organization as part of the activities of the “Ahimsa Nonviolence Network” project, with the participation of members of the Protection and Nonviolence Cell.
The session aimed to establish a clear working system for the Protection and Nonviolence Cell to help its members organize their work, distribute responsibilities, and define communication and coordination mechanisms, while also clarifying the cell’s scope of work and the issues it will address.
The session focused on several key areas:
- Designing the cell’s work cycle and defining the stages of work, from planning and role distribution to implementation, follow-up, documentation, and evaluation.
- Discussing mechanisms for dealing with different situations that the cell may face and identifying pathways for action, coordination, and reporting.
- Defining roles and responsibilities within the cell and distributing tasks among its members.
- Mapping the cell’s areas of work and identifying issues that fall within its responsibility, as well as those that can be addressed in cooperation with other cells.
- Identifying organizations and stakeholders with whom partnerships and coordination can be established within the cell’s areas of work.
- Testing the working system through potential situations and scenarios to identify gaps and further develop working mechanisms.
The session provided a space for collective reflection and the exchange of ideas, helping move from a general understanding of the cell toward establishing practical foundations that enable it to work as an organized and sustainable team.
The session concluded with a set of outcomes related to the working mechanism, distribution of responsibilities, and scope of work of the cell, paving the way for joint work within the Ahimsa Nonviolence Network.
