Speaking about Kobani today is, above all, speaking about people\u2019s right to safety, a dignified life, and the lifting of suffering away from violence and hate speech.<\/span><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Sylfaen',serif;\">Peace is not merely the absence of war.
